Your first appointment will involve a consultation where we will explain your diagnosis and discuss potential treatment options.
In some cases, treatment may be performed on the same day. However, more often, the procedure requires an evaluation followed by a separate appointment to complete the treatment.
To ensure a smooth process, please bring the following items to your consultation:
- Your referral slip and any applicable x-rays.
- A list of medications you are currently taking.
- Your dental insurance card or plan details, including your insurance ID number, if you have insurance. This will help us expedite claim processing.
Important: Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation.
Please inform our team if you have any medical conditions that could impact your treatment, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves or joints, rheumatic fever, or if you are on medications like heart medications, aspirin, or anticoagulants. Additionally, if you require antibiotics before dental cleanings, please let us know.
X-Rays
If your previous dentist has taken x-rays within the last three months, you can request them to be sent to our office or bring them with you. Should additional films be required, we can take them during your visit.
